Saturday morning, house full of people, and all of a sudden the toliets quit flushing and raw sewage backed up into the showers and tubs! I immediately called Roto Rooter and was greeted with, ""How may I give you excellent service today?"" It immediately put me at ease. They had a technician at my home within the hour. His name was Stan Sarlovskis. He was professional and knowledgable. Introduced himself at the front door with a handshake! When was the last time a plumber greeted you with a name and a handshake? Impressive. Stan reviewed my situation and asked the location of the clean out value which would save me money. Unfortunately, we couldn't find it, so he ran a camera thru the drains from inside the house to the street. Not only did he locate the clean out value (which was buried under landscaping) but he created a DVD so I could see what he was doing and could also view the condition of my pipes. Stan worked steady and hard for 7 hours, not even stopping for lunch. He kept me informed of progress and showed me potential cause of problems. I was impressed with how considerate he was with my personal things...handled them carefully... made sure my floors were covered... and even left each bathroom clean with all items returned to their original positions! By the end of the day, all showers and tubs were functioning perfectly. And the job cost was within the range he quoted earlier that day. Thank you Roto Rooter for training your Charlotte techicians so well. Stan is an asset to your company...and my hero for the day! :)
