I purchased a DLP HD Toshiba big screen with the 3 year extended warranty through Ultimate Electronics. I reported problems 3 months ago and their reply was that they dont have anyone in my area to work on Toshiba TV's and they would call when they do. EXCUSE ME. What business does a company have selling a warranty that they do not have the means to honor. They found this little mom & pop shop to work on it. THREE TIMES they have been to the house and nothing has been fixed. I think they are waiting for my warranty to expire. Dont buy the warranty especially if you buy Toshiba. Oh, they also say that they do price parity. I found the tv stand $50 cheaper and they would not refund the difference, so of course I refunded the whole sale and went to RC Willey. Just go to RC to begin with - you may pay more, but you get first class service
