I find it hard to believe all these positive reviews I have read about Boa here. I am from NY, so I know steaks. Went there Sat night with 3 friends. Had the signature NY strip. Ordered Medium and it came out looking like a Hockey Puck. My other 3 friends ordered their steaks Medium Rare and they came out with no juice. The steak also tasted horrible. They bring you dipping sauces. A good steak does not need dipping sauces. One of the sauces I can tell you was A1. Very classy!!!!! The sides were very small. When I order a side they should feed 2-3 people not 1. I should have known something was up when I saw the prices. Not very high compared to a steak house like Mastros. Which by the way is the place to go if you want the best steak in LA.
