Run as fast as you can away from this business. Poorly organized record keeping or outright fraud was my experience. I rented largest truck available from them. Daily price seemed good and $0.44/mi was also reasonable. Truck wasn't quite ready to go as I had to schlep the dozen furniture pads out to the truck myself, but that wasn't much concern. They threw in a dolly for free and said after hours return (5:30) was no problem, so I thought this would go well.
As soon as I pulled away from parking lot, I noticed that the fuel wasn't near full as marked on contract. I called immediately to report that the tank was only a bit above 3/4 full. Female attendant said no problem, just refill to that mark when returning. Completed my move, swept the truck bed cleaner than I got it, returned fuel to 3/4 at nearby truck stop (which took forever and kept me from returning before the 5:30 closing time), parked in the exact same spot, filled out drop off paperwork and put that and keys in the after hours drop box around 5:45 the same day. Days later I see a $199 charge on my card which is easily $70+ too much for the 1 day rental.
I called to find out what was going on and they claimed I had kept the truck for 3 days! As I said earlier, either they have very sloppy record keeping or are thieves. How do you miss a 24' truck for 2 days? They refused to bend despite threat of writing this review and a BBB complaint. Payment disputed on CC. Resolution to be determined.
Update: Budget split the difference with me. Not satisfactory, but better than nothing. Fraudulently taking my money and then offering half of it back wasn't my desired outcome. Hopefully, Budget will monitor this dealer very closely.
