Being new to the area I needed to find a stylist right away because I get my hair cut every 2 - 3 weeks. I went on google, citysearch, and yahoo and Guys & Dolls kept appearing at the top of the search results so I decided to call them. I was particulalry interested in Francisco to cut my hair and it was a Tuesday that I called. I was in disbelief when I was told that he did not have anything for the rest of the week and I couldnt wait so I booked with Michel. When I arrived the next day, a Wednesday, not only did I get a great cut from Michel, but I got the receptionist to show me Francisco's schedule and lo & behold, it was booked solid - the poor guy didnt even have time to go pee. I never saw a salon so busy for a Wednesday. I decided to pre-book an appointment with Francisco for 3 weeks down the road. My life went on, I got a reminder email the day befoe the appointment (nice touch) and finally it was my turn to sit in his chair - the way he said ""So tell me, what are we going to do with this hair of yours?"" was great. He actually listened to what I said and then he epxlained how my hair grows and what would be possible for me, so I let him go for it. For $25 I got the best cut I ever had in my llife. The entire staff was great - the place was busy, the music and the coffee were great and it was really a great experience. I was able to reserve my slot every 3 weeks for the rest of the year and all I can say is IT WAS WORTH THE WAIT.
