Review content:
Because Mt Kisco Kinkos hires semi educated mutants, they are unable to understand that a Government issued passport is not a shreddable piece of paper. It is an important document that forbids its mutilation. Yes, Kinkos employees shredded my husband's passport just days away from a major trip he is taking, and the reason he had taken the passport to copy it there. You know, just in case something stupid happened.
His own distractedness due to the stress of planning a huge trip to Africa and international trips for his work, set up a situation that would prove the IQ's of the Kinkos employees as mind numbingly stupid.
Their ten day policy of holding a document before shredding it started the day the passport was left, but the clock wasn't stopped when he realized that Kinkos was where he left it and called them to inform them that he was out of the state but would collect it soon. They happily shredded it two days later.
As per Kinko's policy.
Even though every US passport clearly forbids the ""alteration or mutilation"" of the passport. Kinko's employees apparently cannot read.
They also cannot call the police to report a found passport, neither can they put a passport into a mailbox where the postal service will return it to the proper owner, neither could Kinko's employees pick up any phone that is constantly ringing in their store and call the phone number on the passport to inform the owner that they had his passport.
Days went by while he frantically searched for it before realizing he must have left it in the copy machine at Kinko's.
Kinko's employees have happily committed a federal offense and justified it as store policy. Brilliant!
Morons!
Cons: dumb employees
