Review content:
The hectic environment can be unsettling for a nervous animal. Many parents bring their kids to see the pets for adoption, and the walls are so thin that my cat gets nervous hearing the kids scream with joy.
And I like to hold the cat (in his carrier) on my lap when there are dogs around, but sometimes there is just nowhere to sit.
But the worst part is the actual ""busyness."" Case in point: Last year my cat needed to have an ultrasound, so we made an appt for the next week. He was not to eat or drink after a certain hour (midnight maybe). So he fasted and I dropped him off at Baugh's around 8 the next morning. Around 5:00 I received a call from the vet who was to perform the ultrasound. She said they were so busy due to an unexpected emergency, and they had not been able to perform the ultrasound. She further stated that it would be best if we rescheduled for another day because if she did the ultrasound now, she would feel rushed. (Are you kidding me?) So my poor cat was hungry ALL DAY and stuck in a cage with other cats around, barking dogs around etc, and we had to do this all over again? We rescheduled, she performed the ultrasound, and that was the last time I went to Baugh's. I did have to call them back, though, because they double-billed me.
Pros: The docs and vet techs are nice.
Cons: hectic, loud, often standing room only
