Review content:
Used this place for years and always felt it was a good value. They did a good job with the bathing, nails, teeth, etc, but I did always feel that they didn't do much brushing. My concern has come lately... our dog is getting old and has been coming back sore... like takes 3 days to recover and can barely get up to go out to use the bathroom kind of sore.
I thought at first it was the car ride (new car has cargo area and she has more room to stand and lose balance, maybe causing sore muscles); however we took some car rides without going to the groomer and she was fine. Then I switched groomer and she does not come home sore any more. I do not believe they were being abusive, but I do suspect that they may have been pulling her leash to get her to follow and climb up the ramp for her bath and stuff, causing her to strain her old, weak muscles. I told them that she has to be lifted, but I don't think this was being done.
If you have a old dog that is a large breed, I do not recommend this groomer. But other than that, they do great.... we used them for nearly 10 years
