Review content:
Not as good as they should be. I was willing to spend extra money for better care but I wound up spending about $1,000 extra for my sick dog's surgical complications, useless tests due to doctor ignorance & stubbornness, and a referral to a specialist to get $15 medicine for an obvious diagnosis I already knew but their vet said was inoperable brain cancer. I had to be demanding and pesky to get them to listen to me because my dog was dying in front of me and they didn't have the humility to do the research I was able to easily do to find out what was wrong with my dog. Then their computer program only keeps the past 5 weights of your pet so my dog's weight fluctuations, which I could have used to make a case against them if my dog had died, weren't in their records. Then my other dog got sick and I couldn't afford to get treatment for her because of all the money I spent on the first sick one. She could have been treated but not there -- they blew off my concerns for her as ""she's just an old dog."" They're smart people so I just don't understand why they don't practice better medicine. Or maybe they treat some breeds better than others, or just young pets. My new dogs are also elderly rescues & the same breed, so they don't go to this vet.
