My wife and I enjoy eating lunch in a nice bar setting where we don't have to wait. Ray's is always no waiting, the bar staff is friendly and enjoyable and the view excellent. I can highly recommend the salmon skewers, the steamed clams and the sablefish entree, our favorites. It's also one of the few restaurants to offer Gewerztraminer (rather than simple Riesling) by the glass which makes it a favorite luncheon spot for us. The bartender. Adam, is a hoot and the host, Joey, frequently makes sure we get special treatment and free birthday lunches. If you have a Passport card, it's always two for one on the entrees. That makes it the best deal in Seattle.
