I highly recommend this school. I've been attending for 3 years, two to four times a week, starting after a serious back injury. The school and all of its instructors have helped me be the best I can be, whether I practice intensely or in a more relaxed way, whether often or less often; I set my own schedule, and they have always respected the decisions I have made for myself. Classes are small, and the teaching is individualized for each student in the class, as impossible as that may sound. I've seen nothing but respect there for all students. I've also seen NO injuries. The staff is dedicated to helping each student reach whatever goal he or she may have. I see a lot of happy, motivated students here - boys, girls, men, women, young, and old. The feeling of community is remarkable. The holiday party in December (pot-luck) was extremely well-attended. Same for the picnic every July. They have a float every year in the Woburn town parade, and a booth at Arlington Town Day every year. They're active in the Arlington High School Martial Arts Club, and they provide gratis access for certain social outreach organizations. Their kids tournament is also very well-attended, by kids and adults, parents and non-parents. Pros: Centrally located. Great instructors. Convenient class times. Parking convenient.
