I had a dog for 12 years. Had him through High School, College and a few years after. He was my baby pie! I started taking him to Balcones during the ""golden years"" of his life and the treatment they provided was beyond excellent. He had gone blind with glaucoma and had an eye removed at one point. These folks were there every step of the way. When it came time to let my Jake go, I couldn't imagine another vet in the room when that had to happen. They were so caring and supportive of a girl in crazy despair, and gentle to the little man who made me laugh all of those years. I've recently been blessed with new babies through a relationship, and recommended switching their vet to Balcones. Just like I thought, my fiance came back with wonderful comments about the vets. He said, ""we'll be taking them there from now on"".
Pros: They listen, care, are knowledgeable and they won't rob you blind!
