Review content:
Knowing how expensive a trip to the Vet can be, I was apprehensive about calling to discuss my dog's condition. I just wanted to discuss possibilities for the condition and possibly avoid the trip to the Vet but I figured I would hear ""you will have to bring the dog in to be examined"". That isn't what I heard. The person who answered the phone took the time to listen to my dog's symptoms and the fact that he had the symptoms before. At no time did she say I had to bring him in. She even said I could try the antibiotics and cortizone treatments I had used the last time. This Vet has seen my dog before but only for annual exams. It was very pleasant to talk with someone who respected the knowledge that I had about my dog's symptoms and that we could discuss options. It is nice to hear that if I think it's allergies like it was the last time that I can just go ahead and give him his meds from last time even though they didn't see him for that or prescribe the meds. And on the other hand it's nice to hear that there were other options, to bring him in and get a shot to ""jump start"" the treatment. I just want my dog to be comfortable so after a wonderful conversation with this woman, I opted to bring my dog in for an exam and based on the exam hopefully get a quicker start to treatment. I was so pleased last year with the Vet and the Vet Tech when I brought him in for his annual exam and now I am even more pleased. And the fees are so reasonable.
