Review content:
My husband & I stayed at the Hampton on a Saturday night so we could be close the the Outlet Mall to do some shopping the next day and we had a great time. The location is wonderful! It's in walking distance to a lot of great stores and close to the Outlet Mall in Marrysville. The one bedroom suite was spacious, clean and very comfortable! The pool and hot tub were heated just right, the breakfast was tasty (although not as good as the Embassy Suites), the ""Manager's Special"", with free cocktails and appetizers from 5-7, was a great bonus. However, the staff was incredibly impolite! During breakfast and the Manager's Special the staff constantly made us feel like we were in the way just by standing there. At one point we stopped at the front desk to ask a question and there were three employees talking (more like arguing) and even though they saw us, it took them about 5 minutes to acknowledge us and when they did they acted like we were interrupting them. They never once greeted us when we walked in and they didn't say ""goodbye"" or ""thank you for staying"" when we left out the front door with our luggage at the end of our stay. The facilities are nice enough that it's almost worth it but if you have the choice, I would definitely choose the Embassy over the Hampton primarily due to the rude staff. Pros: Cleanliness, Location, Room size, Amenities Cons: Staff
