I am in the construction business and I was very impressed. It was a well orchestrated process and I watched the whole process and took plenty of pictures. Added new asphalt driveway for new garage in backyard to front of house. This was a brand new install, no existing driveway. They dug, gravelled, asphalted, etc. Fantastic!!! Fast, courteous, professional from bid to final completion of work. (We got 3 other bids and there is no comparison on who to use or why). We love the look, quality etc. of the driveway. We are completely impressed. We have asked them to give us another bid to redo our original driveway in front of house. They can't bid until late March/early April due to asphalt pricing, but we can't wait to have them do our front driveway. I left a message on their answering machine asking for a quote but not expecting a fast response. I received a call the same morning from a man who had clearly listened to my message because he had already looked at his calendar and had some date suggestions for providing an estimate, based on the message I left with my availability. When he called back, he was cheerful and patiently answered all my questions (since I had never had a driveway replaced before). He also quickly set my expectations, explaining that with the truckers currently on strike, it may be a few days before he could complete the job. The estimate was at my door within 48 hours!
I had several estimates, but I chose Damico because of the fast response and the details in the estimate. They even included a page of tips to remember when getting your driveway replaced.... and they were not all slanted to Damico. Very nice.
They did a great job. They arrived as scheduled and when I got home from work that night, the work had been accomplished and the worksite was clean and neat. They had even ground down part of my cement curb which now gives me a very smooth turn into my garage. No dug up lawn, no tire treads across my lawn, very clean and neat.
