Review content:
I was warned by friends that this would be a bad place to stay as it is in a ""sketchy"" part of town. Actually, it's by the highway, with easy access to both I-25 (Denver's main North-South highway) and I-70 (Denver's main East-West highway). It's definitely a motel-grade place and not as fancy as those in more central downtown, but the rooms were clean and spacious and the location is still very close to the main business area downtown, and very close to Coors Field and LoDo. All in all a great value. I'd also add that the continental breakfast was better than most, in that it included Otis Spunkmeyer muffins (not stale, cafeteria-type muffins as is served in many other motels of this class), Yoplait yougurt, and hard boiled eggs, among the standard cereal, toast, bagel, coffee, juice fare. Perfect for small kids. Finally, the housekeeping staff there is very honest, as they turned in cash that had been accidentally left in the room by my son. I was very pleasantly surprised. If you are looking for an affordable, clean, comfortable place to stay in Denver with kids, I'd recommend this place.
Pros: Location (convenience), rates, continental breakfast
Cons: Location (a bit loud by the highway and sort of industrial), laundry room (small and inconveniently located)
