Review content:
i attened Mission Unity Aug. 2011. I was desperatly fighting a prescription pill addiction that was jepordizing my freedom, relationships, and future. I loved how the founder himself answered the call for help I made to the mission. I heard things from a variety of different people. I learned about addiction, the seven deadly needs, I recieved some tough love from Tues. class Sermon on the Mount. i was able to experience actual AA,CA,NA meeting there which made me less affraid when I went to meetings at home. The place doesn't look like a hospital. It is very confortable. I was even baptized and was able to attend church. (It was my choice and was never forced upon me.) Unlike most rehabs where your being bossed around every second. Mission Unity does give you down time to relax like one would at home. Which is great because it make adjusting back into society easier. Mission Unity has better recovery statistics than several state run facilities at a lower price. The food is amazing and 96 percent of the staff are at different stages of recovery themselves. I'm working and going back to school very soon. Thank you folks at mission unity :)
