My husband and I went to Austin for the weekend (from Fort Worth) and visited this restaurant because of the great reviews and good word of mouth. We found it to be overpriced and the food was just ok. The ambience is beautiful, and the margaritas were great, but the food was nothing to write home about. Ridiculously overpriced, and the service was just not all that great. I'm sure we could have gotten better food and better service for half the price. To us, this was more of a great place for a large group, not so much of a romantic place. I am glad we made a reservation because it was packed!
Pros: margaritas, fun atmosphere, beautiful site
Cons: service(lack thereof), "hot sauce", prices
