Review content:
This is one of my favorite restaurants in Austin. It is a bit steep for my budget or I would go at least once a week! The atmosphere is so lovely and authentic. The food is genuine interior mexico, so don't go expecting your typical tex-mex. I would say that Fonda San Miguel is the most elegant and upscale Mexican restaurant in Austin, yet they also have on their dinner menu many excellent things for the person who prefers continental fare. Their Sunday buffett is excellent - the ceviche, napalito and guacamole salads, corn pudding and pork adobo are some of my favorites. They also have one of the best mole' sauces in Texas! Service is excellent, prompt but not invasive. All in all a wonderful place!
Pros: Gourmet Cuisine, Lovely Atmosphere, Excellent Staff
Cons: Expensive, Hours a bit erratic, sometimes a long wait
