for the second time in two years my sink started backing up, my dishwasher wouldn't drain, and i was slowly losing my mind. a parade of men came through my house over the course of three months, all convinced that they knew how to fix this unfixable problem. all they ever did was make a huge mess, screw up my pipes, and drink all my beer. i eventually decided i needed to break down and get a plumber. i called roto-rooter at 11pm and was able to get an appointment at 9 the next morning. sergei came out and without taking off any of my pipes had my sink running again in about 15 minutes. won't lie, it was a little pricey, but came with a guarantee and a free giant bottle of enzyme drain cleaner, and since my resolution for the new year was to work on my mental health, it was definitely worth it.
