On 7/12/10 my husband and I were almost finished renovating our ""new"" cottage outside of Boston, MA in Falmouth, MA. All of a sudden our septic system backed up into our showers, toilets and sinks. It was an absolute mess. We had our local plumber come out to the house to assess the situation and he told us it was our septic tank and a broken pipe. For six hours our septic company dug up our newly grassed backyard to find it was not the septic tank/pipes. We then called Roto-Rooter who within 20 minutes saved the day - a clogged pipe due to previous owners placing grease down the pipes. Roto-Rooter came within the hour called, was extremely efficient and knew exactly how to assess the problem. Thank you Roto-Rooter for allowing my family to move into our dream cottage.
Pros: Immediate response, no waiting, efficient
Cons: A flat rate regardless of time spent at house
