Review content:
I went to Matyson during Restaurant Week (in late September 05), so my memory of the details is a bit shoddy. But I would definitely recommend this place -- hostesses and waitstaff were extremely friendly and attentive, the food was excellent, and the atmosphere just right. The decor was simple but not just stark white walls, which often is a bit weird. The food was tasty, good-sized portions, and there was a great selection - considering it was Restaurant week, during which time I feel a lot of restaurants just offer their cheapest/least imaginative dishes. It probably gets a bit loud during peak times, but when we were there (about 5:45-6:45), it was extremely quiet.
