Review content:
I called a few radiator shops trying to get a new radiator, and stumbled across Mac's Radiator on the Griffin Radiator website. I was blown away by their (Kurt's) knowledge and articulate explanations. I prompty pulled out my radiator and water pump and made the 24 mile trek to Bellflower w. the parts. Within 24 hours they had procured several new parts as well as cleaned my radiator. Most important, they thoroughly explained how to battle my car's overheatin' demons (its an old 60s GM muscle car, and i like doing the labor). After a few hours of wrenching the cooling system back together, I tentatively took the car for a test spin. I drove it hard, got the RPMs high, accelerated, etc. And the temperature didn't budge, a solid 190. Trust me, I have spent months trying to figure overheating issues. I've spent hours under the hood, bloodying up my knuckles with the same overheated results. No more! I highly recommend these guys, this is the highest rating i've given yet on CitySearch.
Pros: Expert staff, friendly staff, quick turnaround time, no BS, good hours
