I scheduled ride to LAX from Pasadena the day beforehand. They set the pickup time as 3:15 for a 6PM flight out of LAX. The driver showed up on time then wanted to wait 40 more minutes for another passenger then go to another hotel for a third pick up 4 miles away before heading for the airport that was a minimum 45 minute drive. I called the drivers manager and he could not care less if we missed our flight and would not change the route. The hotel concierge called us a town car at 4PM that got us to LAX about 10 til. 5. Rose bowl crowds and tight security made it so we made our gate with only ten minutes to spare. Every other Southwest flight that night was booked solid so we would have ended up stranded at LAX over night if we had got in the Super Shuttle van.
Lesson learned: NEVER USE SUPER SHUTTLE FOR ANYTHING!
Town cars are only a little more and you can have a timely, stress free, comfortable ride.
Pros: cheap
Cons: bad service, don't care about weather you are on time.
