Review content:
We are the proud grandparents of a mixed lab dog and an orange tabby cat. The vet in Forsyth County was killing us with outrageous charge$ for routine care. We were told that each pet needed a tooth extracted and that it would be $410.00 for the dog and $430.00 for the cat!!! We checked with two other vets up here and got $450.00 each, and another came in at $440.00 each. South of Stockbridge, a phone call estimate was $350.00 base price with possible additional charges.
Then my head cleared and I remembered Stockbridge Veterinary Hospital. This was the place that I always used when we lived there years ago--my precious dog was always given excellent care, and she lived to be 15 years old (a Maltese mix). My other daughter presently uses them for her two kitties. I grabbed the phone and made an appointment. We took them in three days later, and they cleaned their teeth by laser method--neither one of them needed a tooth extracted!! Their mouths are healthy, and the total bill: anesthesia, take home antibiotics, complete exam came to...DRUM ROLL....$207.00 for both, together, period!!! If they had needed a tooth extraction, the charge would have been an additional $25.00 each. Needless to say, I was thrilled. The people there were great----even with a waiting room brim full of barking, meowing, pets waiting to be treated, they took time to answer all of my questions and never made me feel rushed. THANK YOU STOCKBRIDGE VETERINARY HOSPITAL for your careful, experienced examination of our pets, which saved them unnecessary pain and for prices that are reasonable and fair and saved me way over $600,00!!!!!
