Not sure how I could have such a different experience then the rest of the people that have left comments. We have been going to this vet for the last 4 years and the staff has always been very friendly and prompt. When we got our Chi I checked at least six different vet offices and they had the best pricing out of all the vets and everyone we have dealt with in the office has also treated our furry children like they are special. I admit the office is in serious need of a facelift but again can't beat the prices and service that my animals and I get. Lake Harbin animal hospital is a rip off, we went there for several years and they informed me that our yellow lab mix had heartworms, we didn't have the $1000 for the treatment. They did a $35 treatment that would eliminate the ""baby"" heartworms but would do nothing to the already ""adult"" heartworms and could not guarantee how long she would live, we almost considered putting her down so she would not have to suffer. The next year is when we started going to Stockbridge Animal hospital and they tested her for heartworms and it came back negative. Heartworms do not just disappear. Lake Harbin Animal hospital needs to do a better job of reading test results apparently because there is no telling how many people have spent that $1000 and the animal did not have heartworms. I guess that vets office just puts the money in their pocket. We will continue to take our babies to Stockbridge Animal Hospital, they are GREAT!!! Pros: very friendly staff/great prices Cons: needs a facelift
