If there is one sure thing about the diners at lady and sons, i guarantee you none of them are from savannah. we laugh openly at the poor tourists foolish enough to wait, sometimes for 5 hours, outside in the opressive low country heat occasionaly being spritzed with mist like cabbage in the kroger produce section, to keep them from getting heat stroke. its a buffet. an unremarkable buffet. if you''re looking to wati for some true down home cooking head up a few blocks to jones street where you'll find mrs. wilkes boarding house. Its worth the wait and more importantly you wait in the shade
Pros: you get to know the corner of congress... really well
