Similar to the other reviewer here, though to a greater financial degree, I have found Taylor's to be most frustrating to deal with, and I still have a car without a working thermostat that overheats. Over three separate repairs spanning 9 months, I spent $2200 to have my 1991 Alfa Spider ""fixed"". I have to drive from Salisbury as this is the nearest foreign car garage--so it's a royal pain to get there. Each time, something ""new"" is wrong with the car. They didn't fix the overheating problem the first time, so the second time--surprise! My fourth cylinder blew. This last time, they claimed that they fixed the (brand new) thermostat, but failed to mention that there's ""something wrong with my dashboard panel"" and the gauge doesn't work. Well, the thermostat is NOT fixed, the car is STILL overheating, and after $2200, I have an undrivable vehicle. And the kicker? Someone pilfered the gear shift and replaced it with another, lesser quality one the last time it was there. Weird, I know, but I do know that I didn't change out the gear shift cover--the owner wanted me to ""drive it in so he could take a look at it"". Um....no. It's a $50 part. You lost it, you replace it. Who knows if I'll ever get it replaced. Additionally, they had my car for 6 WEEKS this summer. Yep, 6 WEEKS--and when it was finally finished (when we were gone on vacation) and I couldn't drive over and get it until the end of the week, the owner had the gall to tell me he was going to start charging me a storage fee if I didn't pick it up by Friday. Seriously? After having my car for 6 weeks? Bottom line--don't take your car here. It's hands down the worst auto ""repair"" experience I've ever had...and I do use that term ""repair"" loosely. Cons: You name it.
