Our main sewer line was backed up. I called Roto Rooter-big mistake. They couldn't find the clean-out but snaked the main line and charged me $425. They came back, inspected it with a camera and declared it all clear except for a bend in the pipe. 3 days later we had the same problem. Roto Rooter came back out and offered to snake and view the pipe again as long as we paid an additional $425. I called to suggest they do this with no charge since they didn't find the true problem. They said the bend in the pipe was the problem and offered to replace the whole sewer line for $4,000 - $6,000. I called Elsey Plumbing in Annapolis at 410-757-6061. Not only did they locate the clean-out but they cleared the sewer line and gave me a deal since he knew I got ripped off by Roto Rooter. (FYI - Elsey Plumbing charge is $75 less than RR even without the generous deal they gave me.) Elsey Plumbing was hard working, honest and saved me THOUSANDS of dollars. Thank you Elsey Plumbing!
