Review content:
I had the opportunity to visit the Concordia Ale House during a visit to Portland for a wedding last year. I was quite impressed with both the selection of beer, which was outstanding, and the level of service that we got. Granted, we were there in the afternoon when there was not many people in the place, but the staff was extremely friendly and, surprisingly, quite knowledgeable about the beer that they were serving... they were able to make intelligent suggestions about local beers (as a visitor from afar) that I should single out for sampling. We only had ""snacks"" while we were there, but they were very good... and hot. Too bad it is a whole continent away... we could use something like that out this way. A bit hard to find, but well worth the trip.
Pros: Excellent Beer selection
Cons: location is hard to find for people not familiar with Portland
