This was my husband, and my first time to San Antonio. My friend who has been here many times recommeded this restaurant.
I can't believe the reviews can be anywhere from excellent, to the worst ever.
I agree this may be just a tad pricey, but, it is soooooo worth it. It is the best Mexican food, I have ever had.
The portions are not small, as others have claimed, we are both big eaters, and did not finish our lunches. All the waitstaff was great. The place is decorated with tons of lights, I thought it was neat.
Point, being, I think you just need to try it for yourself. I loved it.
