""My mom is in a medical facility a block or two from Chappy's. She has been there or in a nearby ICU for the last 10 weeks. She just now got on solid food and REALLY want some """"country style"""" fried catfish. I had Chappy's catfish before and really liked it, but didn't know if I was up to spending dinner price for a couple of pieces of fish (all she wanted was fish and tartar sauce). My wife suggested we go by there. I dropped her off at the door and she explained the situation and they sold us two good size pieces for just $5.00 - cooked fresh and with homemade tartar sauce!
After eating the fish, my mom was in a much more talkative mood even though she is encumbered by a trach. Not say the fish was medicinal, but it sure made her day a little better. THANKS SO MUCH!
