Review content:
This dental office overcharges for its work, at least 25% higher prices than what other offices charge. For each cavity, I was charged at least $250 for even a 1-surface composite repair. At my school, dental work costs only about $150 per tooth for similar repairs. Even at other private offices, most dental work in the Irvine area costs only around $200. Ask around other dental offices before visiting this one; you'll probably find that other office charge no more than $225 for a 3-surface composite repair. This office is not kind enough to disclose its billing policy until after you make a visit, but other offices generally will. Moreover, I think this dentist may have recommended unnecessary many dental repairs. Dr. Ayzin had recommended I receive ~8 cavity fillings. I mistakenly entrusted him with many of the fillings, but when I received a second evaluation at my university's dental clinic, only one was recommended by my school's dentist. I'm not a dentist, so I don't know who is correct, but I certainly would caution you to visit this dentist. The rates certainly are too high, and they may possibly prescribe unnecessary dental work. Cons: Expensive, Possibly Unecessary, Dental Work?
