Review content:
My only experience was with the service department. My wife and I had never owned a Ford vehicle before and were looking for a shop closer to our home to handle the scheduled maintenance. My wife dropped it by to have the MFT checked (2011 Explorer) and the next thing I know (J.W.) the service advisor was on the phone telling me that everything on my vehicle was out of warranty since it was at 37,000 miles. I politely explained that it was a Ford Pre-owned Certified used vehicle that carried a 12 month/12,000 mile comprehensive warranty as well as a 7 year/100k mile powertrain warranty. He argued that it didn't, so I said ""please check the VIN"" - after a long wait he returned only to tell me that the MFT wasn't covered. 1) not true 2) no apology for not knowing about the details of the Certified Pre-owned plan 3) why not at least be cordial?
