Review content:
I have been here now twice, once on my daughter's birthday on a quiet night and once to impress friends visiting. Both times I have been disappointed. Maybe my tongue has been spoiled by all of the food available in Manhattan, but there are MUCH better restaurants in the city for less money. The restaurant is beautiful, but that is about it. The service is okay, but nothing extra, nothing more special than you would get in a local diner. The food has always been a disappointment. I've had the gnocchi, tasted two or three types of beef entree's and two different seafood entrees. Both entree's I've had were too salty and the flavors not balanced. Considering I spent over a hundred dollars for one appetizer and three entrees, I would like to be impressed. My aunt's risotto was flavorless... goey rice with Elmer's glue flavor. I've read all of the good reviews and I keep feeling like I'm missing something. The restaurant is too expensive to warrant another trial. Pros: Pretty Restaurant Cons: Food, Price, Service
