Review content:
This service department is absolutely terrible. While on vacation the transmission in our 2007 Gmc Acadia went out. The car had 52,000 miles. It was 2,000 miles out of warranty. Chris Myers crew told me that they would talk to gm and try to get the transmission fixed under ""goodwill"". That was a lie. After waiting nearly an hour the service manager told me that gm just wouldn't do it and that I had to pay $2990 to fix the transmission. Which I did. After our vacation I called gm to see why they didn't cover the transmission. They explained that the dealer doesn't call for approval. The dealer has the latitude to fix any car under goodwill so long as they have good reason. Since then gm has refunded me the ""dealer pay rate"" of $1600. Gm told me to ask Chris Myers for the difference. Chris Myers general manager (Vicky) told me that they were under no obligation to do anything and will not refund my money. Chris Myers is a crook. His staff lie. They are incredibly greedy and have caused me to lose faith in GMC. I STRONGLY recommend driving past this dealership.?
