If you visit this store beware of making any donations towards any type of rescue fund. I went to this store a while back because i was told they did animal rescue. What troubled me right off was a sign on the door saying they euthanize animals. When i questioned the owner about the sign i was told that people leave cats there at night and they have to track them down and prosecute them. Now correct me if im wrong but isnt that what animal rescue is all about. If someone can not take care of an animal or finds one lost would you not want that person to bring it to a safe place. The sign states that all animals left there are taken and killed. Now the longer i talked to this woman named Chris she went into this rant about coyote's catching and ripping cats apart and the city was full of unwanted cats and that she had just finished a ""roundup""at a KFC, Firestone store and Baileys in Antioch and that she had trapped and put down 27 cats from KFC because they were feral , 4 from Firestone and 8 from Baileys. Now i dont know about the rest of you out there but when a store owner is bragging about killing 39 cats and they were better off, that does not sound like much of a rescue to me. Im not contributing money to a rescue fund so my money can be used to kill animals.
