Out of town on a Saturday, saw a motorcycle I liked, so I made a deal with a private party and bought the bike. I had a bill of sale and the signed title in my hand. After a 200 mile ride, and almost home, I broke down on the side of busy highway as the sun was starting to set. Bill of sale and title in hand, proof of insurance, but no tag, and because there was no tag, AAA would not pick me up! I HAD been a member with AAA for 11 years up to that point, and I had only ever used the towing service one time in those 11 years. Don't waste your time with AAA! AAA will NOT be there for you when you need them!
