Review content:
This is my first review on City Search and I'm glad to be submitting it regardng Karabel's Dancewear in Burbank. I have been taking my there daughter since she began dance training several years ago and have found one uncompromisinig component there. Care for the client. I don't mean just good service, I can find that anywhere. I'm talking about the well being of the client. Lori, the proprietor, is a former dancer herself and her experience has been invaluable to the patron's there in ways they may not expect. When my daughter was prepared to go on point noone said here you go, threw her a pair of shoes, took our money and showed us the door. Lori, took the time and patience to examine her technique, review her dance experience and generally determine whether or not it was too premature to go on point. It's not just about finding the right fit. Too often overzealous students and uninitiated parents will advance them too quicky and unknowingly promote injury and damage to the dancer. One of the first questions one is asked is ""Who is your teacher?"" Lori is well versed with local dance teachers and has a radar on experience and ability. She tries to find you the right shoe that is comensurate with your level, not just any shoe. You want great service, the right shoe and a perfect fit, you can't do better than Karabel's!!!!
