I used Roto-Rooter to rod out two pipes. I made the mistake of using my garbage disposal to get rid of old leftovers. Big mistake! The sewer specialist cleared the drain and pipe and explained that our old pipes can not handle food disposal and to not do it ever again unless I want to have the pipes roded every time. Unfortunately it's not cheap enough to do that, so I will never use my disposal for food again. He also gave other helpful advice on how to improve our plumbing in the future. Advice we plan on using when we remodel our kitchen in the near future.
