My mother-in-law called those guys to check out her broken air conditioner. Repair guy told her it was broken, and need to replace it for $4000. She called me asking for advice. I told the guy over the phone that we will look compare his quote and get back to him later. He then said he would drop the price to $3500, which got me even more suspicious. After I told her to refuse it on the spot, he then wanted to charge $80 for talking to me (less than 5 min), and wanted her to pay him $180 for inspecting the unit, even though he did not fix anything. He also refused to leave until he got paid, saying that every minute he is there, he will charge her more. Eventually she paid him, against my advice, because she did not want any trouble. I called police, because we live 1 hour away. Police officer told her that she should cancel the check and report it to the company. I would not recommend this company at all.
