Bond,s replaced the optical engine on my 5 year old 50" Hitachi about 1 year ago and the service was excellent.. This week my picture just went went black so I called Bond's. I spoke with Gary and he suspected the lamp went out. He took the time on the phone to walk me through pulling the front panel, opening a small door to access and remove the lamp unit and sure enough the lamp was bad. Gary said they had the lamp in stock. I drove to the store and they replaced it in a matter of a few minutes at a cost equal to what I would have paid for just the lamp online. Thank you Bond's..
