Review content:
I heard some friends talking about this restaurant and was very surprised because I enjoy dining at all the hot spots in Houston and had not heard about it. A girlfriend and I went for lunch one afternoon and I was completely blown away! I had Tomato Basil Soup and a Grilled Chicken Panini and my friend had their Pasta of the Day, and they were both fabulous! When we sat down our server also recommended their signature Chocolate Fondant which takes about 20 minutes to prepare, and it was absolutely worth the wait! Rich and decadent!! The cozy dining room was the perfect place to have an intimate lunch, but I noticed quite a few business men around that looked as though they had stopped in on their lunch breaks. While there I asked to take a look at the wine list and it looked great - alot of Italian wines, but not surprising given that the hotel was built to look like an Italian palace :0) I can't wait to return and try dinner!
