Review content:
I went to the AT&T store to return a screen protector I had purchased from them (that they had applied for me). It was an invisible shield by ZAGG (Do not EVER EVER purchase this product, worst investment you will ever make), but when I bought it they informed me that as long as I leave a case off of it for 48 hours it will protect my phone "for life". Well a week went by and not only were there bubbles that would not go away, but the corners were peeling up! So I went to return it at the AT&T store, I was rudely informed that "they don't do returns for screen protectors" (meanwhile they failed to mention this when I was spending money on the worthless piece of crap), so I explained to them that they told me once it's on it's near impossible to remove and yet it was coming off from merely being put in my pocket...that's when Juan, one of the workers told me that I probably pulled it off myself (um yeah, right) that they'll give me an exchange but I need to "put it on myself." At this point, one of the other workers ran around the store yelling "NO MORE PUTTING ON SCREEN PROTECTORS FOR ANY CUSTOMERS" making a spectacle out of the situation. Next I was told, actually screamed, at by about 7 grown men (pretty much every worker in the store, guess they had nothing better to do), that they apply hundreds of these particular screen protectors every day and that there has never, once, in the history of the world, been one complaint besides my own (YEAH, OK, that's why they have a warranty that states damages are not their fault and aren't covered). Anyway at this point I just took the exchange (kind of silly really, losing an EXTRA $30 giving me a new product rather than just returning it, whatever.) The point is, it's not the refusal to refund that was the problem, I understand policy is policy no matter how stupid, it's the fact that they ganged up on me, screamed at me, and not one went by the golden rule of retail "the customer is always right"...they were completely rude and defensive the entire time, not apologizing at all for the fact that the product didn't preform they way they guaranteed it would. This is not how a paying customer should be treated and I strongly advise you to avoid this store. If I had EVER spoken to a customer at my job they way they spoke to me I would be fired on the spot. Ridiculous. However when I called corporate they credited my account the money for the product plus some, informed me that the screen protector was in fact refundable, and filed corporate complaints against the store, workers, and managers (who mind you did not step in once while I was being screamed at by every worker in the store). Pros: null Cons: null
