Review content:
I had a mixed experience at Discount Tire in Minnetonka. The staff is friendly when helping to pick-out tires and I actually liked their sales approach. However, once you commit to buying tires from them, the customer service goes out the window. First, they gave me an estimated wait time of 2.5 hours. Unfortunately, the wait time was closer to 6 hours total. I even went up to the counter 2.5 hours into the wait to ask how much longer and they told me another hour. 3.5 hours later, I got frusterated and told them I wanted my keys back. They then said that it would only be 30 more minutes and would move my car to the top. This frusterated other people who were there as well. They were busy, so I can understand some overage in the wait time, but 2.5 hours is A LOT different than 6 hours. I wish they would have set expectations better so I could have had someone pick me up. Additionally, make sure you review the invoice. They had about an $80 adder on mine that I did not catch until I got home. They are in the business of making money.,. I need tires on our other car, and will be trying someone else.
