I called 558-7676 Mr. Rooter because my kitchen sink was clogged on March 19th 2009. They waived the service fee to look at the problem. When the plumber got there he said it would be $194 to use a metal snake to clear the drain. After about an hour he said it would have to be hydro washed and it would cost $594. I talked to some of the plumbers I worked with and they said they use a metal snake to clear pipes in the restaurants in the building and there was no way a nine year old home could have more build up than a restaurant. The only time they use hydro wash is to clear rocks from a pipe. The following day another plumber came out and cleared the clog with a metal snaked in 30 minutes for $100. When I called Mr. Rooter to let them know they said "Ok, have a wonderful day." WOW Customer service at its finest!!!
