Review content:
My day in Nashville of shopping for records included a stop at Grimey's. It was my third or fourth trip to this store, and this visit (June 15) was cut way short because they were having an artist appearance in the store when I arrived. They have a small corner in this store devoted to their main used vinyl section, and it was completely blocked off by tables and totally inaccessible. I have nothing against in store appearances by artists, it's just that this place is too small to sell music and have artist appearances inside the store at the same time. I left disappointed but not discouraged, as I had two other stores I wanted to visit this day anyway. My previous trips here resulted in buying two or three records each time. This store might have a cooler atmosphere to some people than other Nashville record stores, and drinking beer in the store is allowed, but in my opinion their selection of used albums is average and I probably would like this place better if I was younger, buzzed, and just looking for somewhere to hang out.
