Did you know that pests can arrive in your home via newly-installed appliances? It's true, they love cardboard containers. That's what happened to us, and it was beyond frustrating because we'd just moved into a brand-new home. Palmetto Exterminators had the termite treatment contract in our neighborhood, and so naturally we turned to them for help. Appointment scheduling was a nightmare--the best they could offer was a 6-hour window in which they might arrive. Who can wait at home all day? Worse, Palmetto let us down by refusing to go behind the appliances to bait/treat the source of the problem. Repeated pleas to do so were met with refusal--that's when we went online to read reviews of local pest control companies. We chose New-Tec and are so glad we did! The infestation was erradicated in 3 visits, as promised. They arrived on time, as scheduled, too. Needless to say, we highly recommend New-Tec if you're in the Summerville area.
