No one wants to go through any type of cancer experience, but when faced with the diagnosis, having such an excellent and amazing doctor as Dr. Kristi Funk lead your team is a gift. She is an outstanding surgeon and a wonderful compassionate human being. She was the 2nd surgeon I met with and I knew after that appointment that she was the person I wanted to help me get through this experience. She took so much time with me to explain everything that was going on, making sure I wasn't confused about any part of the treatment plan. She recommended other wonderful doctors that made up my team and I felt that I was receiving the best care available. The Pink Lotus Breast Center is also a calming place - the staff is so warm, friendly and attentive. I have always felt so taken care of whether it was regarding surgery, follow-up's, insurance questions, fears I had - anything that surfaced was well handled with professionalism, care and courtesy. And the center itself is beautiful and welcoming with warm lighting, lovely art on the walls, and big fluffy robes, instead of paper gowns - details matter here - at every level. I feel blessed to have found someone that I was able to put my trust in and I will continue to do so. I can't recommend Dr. Funk and the center highly enough!
