This family owned and run coin shop is the best I have seen... From SoCal to Anchorage Alaska to Roanoke Virginia, I have found no coin shop more fair, prices more reasonable, and prices paid so high, than I have experienced at Patchin's Coin Gallery... In all my traveling, I check out coin shops in the hopes of finding a 'deal'... And EVERY TIME, it is Patchin's that is the fairest and best priced... I still do business with them while living in VA and working in AK... These people are genuine, fun, and enjoy what they are doing... And they know and appreciate that business and life is about relationships... No matter where my hat is hanging, I will always consider the Patchin's my friends and will do business with them as long as their doors are open... I have been a customer of Bob's since 1997. I trust them explicitly when making purchases over the phone and thru the mail. I would never do this type of business with any other coin shop I have visited... They are truly a class act...! Cheers...
Pros: Always friendly and welcoming... Always there to answer questions, discuss and educate about the hobby... Willing to bargain... Nice selection and variety...
Cons: Their gallery is in Orange, CA and I live in Roanoke, VA...
